While I was pregnant a friend of mine gave me a box of disposable nursing pads. I thought great now I don’t have to buy any for a while. During the end of my pregnancy I got really Dry nipples, Like I mean the cracks in my nipples made a dry desert look moist, (I Know TMI but hey your reading this by choice), I decided to use the breast pads to protect my bra as I slathered my poor beef jerky nipples with Lanolin. Well Just with my luck the disposable nursing pads made my nipples itch so bad! so at that point, I not only had dry nipples But my tits itched like a hot red mosquito bite! I was done, I figured fine ill just leak all over myself I don’t need breast pads. Fast forward to the last month of my pregnancy and I went with my mom to Motherhood Maternity for some Nursing bras. While I was there I paid $2.00 and signed up to receive mommy and baby promotions in the mail. My first set of promotions was a bunch of gift card type coupon vouchers. One of the coupons was for Breastpads.com, I got 10 pairs of reusable breast pads for the price of shipping. I really like these pads! They come in different patterns and are soft, comfortable, and reusable. I just throw them in a garment bag with the baby socks and wash them in the washing machine. I guess the only downside for some women using these may be the fact that they do not stick to the inside of your bra, But it doesn’t bother me.
